Numerical Modeling Project Manager (2020 - to date., 2 yr.)

Coordination and realization of (1) air quality studies on the dispersion of atmospheric exhausts related to road traffic in urban environment by 3D CFD modeling (Computational Fluid Dynamics), (2) studies of the dispersion of industrial atmospheric discharges using Gaussian modeling, (3) monitoring of air quality by measurement campaigns, (4) assistance to project management on the subject of air quality and (5) various research and development work on the themes of CFD and AI (artificial intelligence).

ICUBE Laboratory

Associate Researcher (2022 - to date, < 1 yr.)

Conducting research for (1) the development and validation of CFD solvers and methodologies to assess urban air quality, (2) the study of the impact of building architecture, vegetation and other structures on the dispersion of air pollution in the city, (3) the study of the impact of heat transfers (including or not radiation) on the dispersion of air pollution as well as the generation of urban heat islands, and (4) the use of artificial intelligence models with or without CFD coupling for air quality assessment at urban scale.

Project and Research Engineer / PhD student (2017 - 2020, 3 yrs.)

For research and engineering: Development and validation of (1) Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models under OpenFOAM for air pollution dispersion modeling at the urban scale, including: compressible and incompressible models, forced and mixed convection models, consideration of heat transfer in air, consideration of vegetation effects on air flow and air pollutant dispersion, etc., and (2) methodologies for the calculation of annual average concentrations based on sensor data or modeling results. | For engineering only: (1) realization of air quality studies in urban environment on the dispersion of atmospheric emissions related to road traffic by CFD modeling and (2) monitoring of air quality by measurement campaigns.

Laboratoire ICUBE

Graduation work (2017, 6 months)

Development and validation of an incompressible computational fluid mechanics (CFD) model with forced convection under OpenFOAM for the modeling of air pollution dispersion at the urban scale.

FAIRMODE - CT4 Member

(2022 - to date)

FAIRMODE was launched in 2007 as a joint response initiative of the European Environment Agency and the European Commission Joint Research Centre. Its aim is to bring together air quality modelers and users in order to promote and support the harmonized use of models by EU Member States, with emphasis on model application under the European Air Quality Directives.
